A New Look
We care about the appearance of your furniture, and can offer suggestions about details. No matter what your furniture currently looks like, we can give it new life. Every piece of well made furniture should be rescued before it becomes part of the landfill, so don't hesitate to call us if you have a sofa or chair that you believe is worth getting done. New "cheap" furniture can be deceivingly poorly made, and problematic. Older furniture was made to last, with solid hardwood framing, heavy spring systems, and upholstery grade fabrics. Check out yard sales and garage sales, (or ask your Grandma) for the older better furniture, ready for your choice of fabric. Send us a picture and measurements for our prices to upholster your treasures. You'll enjoy working with friendly, helpful and knowledgeable upholsterers.

We Proudly Offer:
  • Custom Upholstery—
Antique and Unique, Commercial and Residential
  • Structural/ Frame repairs
  • Upholstery Repairs: rips and tears in fabric
A History of Quality Customer Service
At Farquharson Upholstery Shop, we have a lifetime of sewing experience and 23 years in the upholstery business, so far. Owners Twig and Teresa are committed to providing clients with the latest upholstery color trends, and classic styles. The many repeat customers and excellent "word-of-mouth" references, continue to keep the business thriving, even in uncertain times. Great service never goes out of style!

After working with a long-time upholsterer, Twig and Teresa bought all of his equipment, including industrial sewing machines, button makers, and every other kind of tool known to the upholstery industry. They opened in 1993, with an immediate demand for their work. In addition to being a great teacher, the former owner helped Twig and Teresa by recommending them to anyone who needed upholstery work. From the start, the shop was busy with customers needing sofas and chairs repaired and upholstered. After all these years, they still love what they do, and it shows!
